Thank you Bicycle One for your help! After searching online for a new bike, I stopped at a local bike store to check it and a few other bikes out. While looking at the bike, I was given several off the cuff answers to questions I asked, most which were completely wrong. This was at a larger multi-store business around the Cleveland area. The last straw was none of their stores had the bike I wanted in the color I wanted and in the size that best fit me. I expanded my search and came across Bicycle One. They are a 2 hour drive from me but I called and Joe answered the phone. I told him Uncle Google said they had what I was after, Joe checked and they happened to have two in the color I wanted, one large and the other extra-large on the floor ready to go. Since it would be a 2 hour drive and the forecast was to be in single digits (at least here at home) I asked if Joe would mind sending me a picture of each so I could be sure they really were there and in the color I wanted. In short order, I had the pictures so I drove down to the Gahana store the next day. The technicians just finished going over one of the bikes and already had the other one in the shop looking it over before I arrived. Joe was off that day but Nick helped with the bike purchase and after a short delay with adjusting the rear derailer, I was getting ready to take my new bike home. I don’t know the names of everyone who helped to make this a great experience but it all started with Joe who was more than willing to answer all my questions and send me the pictures I asked for. Nick did a good job helping me decide on the size that worked best for me (turned out to be the extra large). I'm not sure but I think it may have been Mel who worked the derailer issue (sorry if I got that wrong) and finally Troy who helped me wrap the bike up in moving blankets and load it into my truck. I’ve worked the bulk of my career as a maint tech in a corporate aviation flight department and doing so you have to understand customer service. From what I saw at Bicycle One from that first phone call, through loading the bike into my truck, were people who truly understand customer service. You don’t find that everyday. Thanks again to all, it was well worth the two hour drive from Brunswick!

This place is excellent! They will give you really friendly, honest advice. Purchased some road bike shoes for my son and they encouraged him to try on some brands at another store before deciding. They don’t just want to sell you things, they genuinely want to help you have a good biking experience. Thanks again!
