The service at this bike shop is top notch! I took my Brompton over during a visit to DC with a long term issue that they fixed and they wouldn't charge me for it! My bike seat had been toggling up and down for months. After two visits to two other bike shops and two other guys tried to fix it, and this bike shop figured it out. They also helped me diagnose another issue with my bike that I will get fixed later. I can't recommend them highly enough!

I strongly recommend this bike shop. I found Bicycle Space two years ago when I was planning to buy a Brompton folding bike. I test drove a few models and bought the C line 6 speed. Over the past two years, I've put 2000 miles on the bike and I've brought it into the shop a handful of times for tune-ups or service (broken chain, issue with shifting, drive train noise, help correcting my error when I installed the back rack). Each time I had a positive interaction with the staff and I've never felt like they were trying to rip me off. They didn't charge me for labor a few times when they could have. These guys really know their stuff and they're enthusiastic about cycling. Definitely give them a chance if you're looking to buy a bike or have your current bike serviced.

Okay, so you know when you go to a bike shop and it’s these hipster guys with styled mustaches, a haughty, condescending, gate-keeping attitude, aloofness that borders on indifference, and a carabiner key chain with an impractical, impossibly robust collection of keys attached to their belt strap? Well, the mechanics here are NOT those guys. They are kind, thorough, and funny and go above and beyond to help you with your bike. I came in for one issue with my bike, and they gave me a full diagnosis, explained what they were doing and why like I was five, and offered advice and fixes beyond what I came in for. And unlike bike shops that try to get you to buy the most expensive thing or unnecessary accessories, they actually advised more affordable options and prioritized what was most urgent to address vs. what was purely cosmetic. Can’t recommend this place enough!!
