Gno Cyclery

Great, reliable bike shop. bought my first bike here in 2008 (hope whoever eventually stole it is sitll enjoying it) and still take my bikes in to this day. I tried a few other bike shops that were geographically closer to me at various points, and GNO Cyclery has always done be right and done it best. Always friendly. Answer all my hairbrained questions with joy. When I recently told them my bike was my primary mode of transportation, they expedited getting it tuned up and back to me (at no extra cost). That was really sweet and unexpected.

Billy is the 🐐 (pun half-intended) Been meaning to post this review for about a month. I’ve started biking more in the past year, which naturally comes with service needs from time to time. GNO is my neighborhood bike shop, so it’s a no-brainer to come here whenever I need work done. Billy is always in a great mood and gets my bike in lickety split (it is not uncommon for him to come in on his off days to put work in on the bikes to get them back to customers ASAP). He always gets my stuff sorted and I’ve never gotten sticker shock, to boot. But what really prompted me to write this review was what happened to me last month. I was riding on Carrollton and wiped out in the bike lane. Fortunately, I was minimally harmed, but the bike felt really funky. I walked it straight into GNO and told Billy what happened. He took one look at the bike, messed with a couple levers and popped my chain back on, and sent me on my way in less than a minute. No charge. Then I started riding over the next couple days and felt some tension on my back tire. Brought it in again, and Billy diagnosed and fixed the problem immediately, again at no charge. Just a real good guy who takes care of the customers and the bikes that walk in through the door. I’m a GNO Cyclery lifer now. Thanks, Billy!
