Joe's Bike Shop

Hard to believe I've been a customer for almost 15 years but haven't written a review! Consider the bike shops that have come and gone in that time, support this store. Even if you took the time to write negative review, what's your alternative!? All the shops are gone! Sure that doesn't mean you should brush off a negative experience, but give a shop like this the opportunity to correct the wrong. This business is a hard one. Very slim profit margins and largely operates out of pure passion. They've always treated me right. Even if they got something wrong, I gave them the opportunity to correct. And they did. All my bikes are serviced here. And they probably always will be. And considering I've had MORE disappointment from my online bike shopping experience than I've ever had here, my next bike is coming from this store or custom built by it

I had a great experience at Joe's Bike Shop. As a new cyclist, I very much appreciated the level of help and recommendations I received from Joe. He was patient and walked me through all of the options and why certain brands/models/accessories were better for how I planned to use my new bike. I highly recommend checking them out!

I just wanted to take a moment and express my gratitude to Joe's Bike Shop for the wonderful service I received the past 2 days. I purchased a Specialized Allez Sprint Comp Disc from the Mt Washington shop a year or so ago. Yesterday, in anticipation for Baltimore Bike Party I realized my back brakes needed to be replaced. When I called your shop, the associate that helped me was very kind, helpful and engaging. My bike was in your shop and out in 1.5 days, covered by the 2 year service, and Joe even helped us put the bike in the trunk of our car. Often at other bicycle shops in Baltimore, I have found employees to be dismissive, arrogant, pretentious and unhelpful. I have never felt that at Joe's and it is refreshing. The customer service is world-class. At this point I would only buy a bike in Baltimore from JBS and I always tell people that this is the shop you want to go to. Thank you.
