See all reviewsPicked up a new Urtopia Joy from Kickstand Cycles, and this is exactly how buying a bike should feel. The bike itself is a blast. It is incredibly lightweight, which makes it feel natural and easy to ride, not bulky or awkward. Handling is smooth, lifting it is effortless, and it just feels right. The price was excellent too. Fair, competitive, and refreshingly honest. What really stands out is the staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely knowledgeable. No pressure, no sales pitch nonsense, just real answers from people who clearly know bikes and actually ride them. They focused on making sure I got the right bike, not just making a sale. Overall, great bike, great price, and great people. Kickstand Cycles delivered, and the Urtopia Joy absolutely lives up to its name
Wonderful and friendly staff at this cute and well stocked bike shop. Although they primarily sell electric bikes, they were able to tune up my old regular bike at a great price. Thanks Kickstand!
Fantastic time during Balloon Fiesta week on e-bikes we rented from Kickstand Cycles. From the initial check-in, the staff were extremely helpful with guidance on trail systems in Albuquerque. The city has bike lanes and bike trails everywhere which makes it a suitable substitute for a car. We even took the bikes on the Rail Runner one day to Sante Fe to experience Meow Wolf and downtown Santa Fe. The staff there were also super helpful with guidance and getting your bike on and off the train. The bikes were well maintained and easy to ride. We were able to go to much further distances than on normal bikes and used them all over Albuquerque (old town, Petroglyphs National Monument, Museum of Nuclear Science, & several restaurants and breweries). It made arrival and departure to the festival a breeze since we didn’t have to wait in traffic. Thank you Owen and Greg for making our week super enjoyable. We will be calling again when we return to Albuquerque.
