Retro City Cycles

Wow! Our First time visiting Retro City Cycles, needing some assistance attaching a bike rack to our car. We were Very impressed with the Huge inventory of bicycles; every kind of biking gear you can imagine! Having been to another bike shop beforehand, we were “blown away” by the quick, attentive, excellent response to our needs. This business rocks!🥰

I brought in a 15 year old bike that had been largely neglected for the last decade and they made it like new again for a very fair price! I first stopped in with the bike on a busy Saturday, after getting quotes from REI and Orange Cycle. The other shops barely had time for me and prioritized customers with quick needs; and while this shop also had other customers they made time to check out my bike as soon as they could and didn’t drag their feet (Orange wanted me to leave my bike with them even after I made it clear I didn’t want to). I knew I was at the right shop when after evaluating my bike, Dean had a very honest conversation about the possibility that I could find a similar quality bike on Facebook marketplace around the cost I was quoted. The fact that they weren’t trying to just replace everything (like REI) and had a detailed quote with clear and fair pricing (unlike Orange who just scribbled a handwritten list with much higher prices), on top of them suggesting I could possibly find a similar bike elsewhere, drove home that I was at an honest shop that listened when I told them what I wanted. They made my bike safe and rideable and at minimum costs. And I’m so glad to give new life to my old bicycle!

I bought a Retrospec bike from Retro last year and I couldn’t be happier. The team here is always helpful and kind. I came in recently for a tune-up and they worked on my bike quite rapidly. Also, the area is awesome for lunch or coffee while you wait
