We contacted the eBike store after we weren’t able to find another Specialized Turbo Vado 4 at a different local shop we’d favored with many prior purchases. From the moment we walked in, Andrew made us feel welcome and appreciated as customers- with zero history. WOW! After less than 5-minutes he had us laughing, located the bike in inventory, and had converted us as customers simply because of his great service and knowledge. Picking up the bike and fitting was equally as fun. Impressed by Andrew’s knowledge and interest in helping us become familiar with the features and equipment- more thorough experience than a recent car purchase even! A shout out to Specialized for listing the eBike store inventory, and to Andrew and the crew at the eBike store inventory in N Portland! Your outstanding service has kept you in business for 17-years! We absolutely recommend you.

My favorite place for e-bike service. I get an annual tune up here and always get things fixed that I didn't know could work better. The whole team (shout out Bryan, Andrew, and Mark!) has a careful attention to detail and takes the time to explain the different tools, accessories, and improvements of how ebike designs are improving. I have been a loyal customer here for 6 years-- they are integral to my car-free lifestyle- and can't recommend them more highly!

Absolutely stellar experience. Michael (forgive me for maybe misspelling your name, I didn't see it written down!) absolutely told me everything I needed to both replace my back tire tube (flat) and prevent a future flat to the best of my ability. He accomplished this by: first recommending Tannus guards (that he then cut to size), attempting to install the guards before the manufacturing of my rims 100% prevented that from being possible, and *then*, he went with the next bext thing; a very durable tire that was actually *cheaper* than the Tannus guards! (my experience with mechanics and salespeople prepared me to be up sold and unhappy. This was... Incredible and such a delight.) Michael installed my new tube, tire, *didn't* charge me for the Tannus I wasn't able to use, and then proceeded to adjust everything I did wrong when I put my bike together! I was prepared to pay through the nose for a number of things I did not ask for! I feel a little like I robbed the poor man. I wish I'd had cash to press I to his hand. He was an absolute pleasure and very instructive to a completely ignorant cyclist such as myself. My bike is a very cheap commuter, but never once did he try to sell me on a new anything except what I came in asking for. I mentioned when I walked in that I was looking for a low cost repair, and he more than delivered. I was thinking about getting two new tires to be safe (NW Front Ave you glass covered piece of work), but Michael, bless him, advised I focus on the back tire as that was the problem child and the front tire is the easiest to maneuver away from hazards. He never tried to cajole me into something I did not want or need. He listened and told me what he would suggest and do in my place, and I literally am so happy to have gone a few miles out of my way. I rode home on a new tire and tube, with adjusted brakes and gears and a firm confidence I'd just had the first pleasant mechanical anything I've ever experienced. Add in that while I waited for my install, I was offered and provided coffee, and any ignorant questions I had about the high end ebikes were answered respectfully and *without* making me feel like a fool. I didn't catch everyone's names, but they were all delightful and I will absolutely be coming back for parts, adjustments, and probably a new bike in future when my cheap model no longer serves. 10/10, Michael, I hope you have a lovely day and life in general. Take this: 👑, you've earned it.
